Serves deli food products to customers while maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and customer service. Processing customer sales and requests in a quick, effective and friendly manner. Assisting customers with products and recommendations. Maintaining store area stocked and clean.

Responsibilities

Greet all visitors and customers professionally
Slice, cut, weigh, and price customer orders
Control freshness by rotating products
Restock shelves and display cases
Clean and sanitize counters, cases, equipment
Sweep and mop store area
Put away orders and deliveries
Report low supplies or equipment issues
Operate cash register when necessary

Qualifications

Minimum 17 years of age
Basic English communication
Interpersonal & oral communication skills
Able to lift up to 25 lbs
Works well in a team
Ability to follow instructions

Assist kitchen staff in food preparation, and ensure quality controls are followed. Maintain cleanliness of food preparation and storage areas and all kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare basic food following set recipes
Set up kitchen for food preparation
Wash, peel, and cut various foods
Store food to prevent spoilage
Clean and maintain equipment and utensils
Wash dishes, pots, and pans
Sweep and mop walk-ins and kitchen area
Put away orders and deliveries
Heavy cleaning (ovens, grill) when needed
Remove trash and clean garbage containers
Report low supplies or equipment issues

Able to carry out tasks quickly and competently
